Our standard Female Cancer Cover pays up to £25,000 if you're diagnosed with a primary cancer in:

  • one or both breasts
  • one or both ovaries
  • the cervix
  • the uterus
  • the vagina
  • the vulva, or
  • one or both fallopian tubes

Although this is not an income replacement scheme, some women use the cash to cover the mortgage and household bills while they take time off work for treatment, or to cover hospital travel costs or childcare fees.

Your cover options

Female Cancer Cover offers two levels of cover, Standard and Premium:

  • Standard cover: £25,000
  • Premium cover: £50,000

What we don't cover

We're unable to offer cover if:

  • you've had previously a cancer diagnosis or had a tumour described as pre-malignant
  • you're younger than 18 or older than 69, or
  • you live outside the UK.

We won’t pay benefit if you’re diagnosed with cancer within 90 days of your policy start-date, or if you receive medical advice, have symptoms or tests, or receive cancer medication or treatment within this 90-day period.

We also won’t make payments for claims based on a diagnosis by an insured person or a member of the insured person’s family.
