Cancer Cover Female
Female Cancer Insurance Plan
  • Cancer Cover Female, previously known as WellWoman, is a plan that’s designed to cover seven female specific cancers. Because Cancer Cover Female deals with just these seven cancers, the premiums are lower than our Cancer Cover plan. Cancer Cover Female deals with cancer in: 
    1. One or both breasts
    2. One or both ovaries
    3. The Cervix
    4. The Uterus
    5. The Vagina
    6. The Vulva
    7. One or both Fallopian tubes
     
    As with WellWoman, it’s a plan that can help take the financial and emotional pressure off you and your family if you’re diagnosed with cancer. You can choose from four levels of cover:
    • £25,000 with Standard Cover
    • £50,000 with Premier Cover
    • £75,000 with Platinum Cover
    • £100,000 with Platinum Plus Cover
    • For early stage cancers which haven’t spread, we will pay £1,000.
    It’s important to know that Cancer Cover Female is not an income protection plan. Cancer Cover Female provides a one-off payment that you can spend as you wish.

Cancer Cover Female Benefits
  • With Cancer Cover Female you get the same great benefits as with WellWoman, it is easy to join - there is no medical and we don’t even take your family history into consideration.

    Claims can be made just 91 days after taking out Cancer Cover Female.
    • A level of cover that suits you – from £25,000 to £100,000
    • We’ll pay £1,000 for some early stage cancers that have not spread
    • A hospital benefit of £50 per day up to a maximum of £4,500
    • Cancer Cover Female deals with seven types of female-specific cancer including breast and cervical
    • Access to our 24-hour Cancer Cover Support Service, offering help and advice
    • Discounts for your partner, and your children will be covered free of charge
    You need to be a UK resident, aged from 18 to 69 years. Cover expires at the first premium due date following an insured person’s 75th birthday.

Discounts with Cancer Cover Female
    • Don’t forget, we pay the first premium for you.
    • We’ll cover your children under 18 free of charge with Cancer Cover Female – cover specific to the gender of that child.
It’s important to know…
  • It’s important to know that Cancer Cover Female is not an income protection plan. Cancer Cover Female provides a one-off payment that you can spend as you wish, if you are diagnosed with one of the seven cancers specified in your policy schedule. No benefit is payable on cancers diagnosed within the first 90 days.
     
    Cancer Cover Female won’t provide cover for a previously diagnosed cancer or ones for which you are undergoing tests. Cancer Cover Female, previously WellWoman won’t provide cover for any tumours that are described as being pre-malignant. Please see policy documents for full details of exclusions.
     
    If you are already a WellWoman customer, your policy will continue as normal.
